I love productive days!
My family has early bird & sleeper genes. I teeter between dad's early bird genes, and mum's sleeper genes. But if I get into any kind of routine, even if only for a week or so, my body adapts to it, and this week I have been getting up at 6 am each day.
Today was designated 'sleep in' day. DW decided to skip class, we stayed up late watching a movie and talking, and snuggled into a very chilly bed around 12:30 am. I was wide awake by 7:30! And being the amazing wife I am, I decided to do something different and let DW sleep until 10:30 am! I did my yoga, emptied the dishwasher, loaded the dishwasher, made the grout, and when DW finally got up, we grouted the bathroom tiles. Next up? Farmers Market! Followed by way less exciting stuff like washing the grout, and heaps of cleaning/mowing.
I love weekends that are productive! I find the week is just to hectic and tiring to get much done. So today shall be a lovely catch up day :) And seeing as the lawn has not been mowed until just after may long. Because we have only had light drizzle once or twice since the last snow... we decided not to cut out grass, because frankly, it would have to be watered every day to keep it from its impending doom. (and I'm ridonkulously cheap) Today things shall get done! YAY

Ha! Your day is the EXACT opposite of mine today. I can hardly keep my eyeballs open to even look at the computer let alone do anything really productive. I feel a low pressure system coming in and my motivation moving out! So, when you are done, come over to my place and make some grout.
It's great that you have a blog now, too. Mine is in German unfortunately but I might switch to English. How are you? greets jo
